Seed Library

The Wolcott Public Library Seed Library allows all patrons to bring home seeds to plant in their own gardens.

Borrowing Policy

  1. Visit the front desk: Ask to see the seed library.
  2. Show your Connecticut library card. Wolcott residents can get a free library card at the front desk.
  3. Choose your seeds: Select up to four seed packets per adult for the 2025 season. Take only one packet of each variety. Please only take what you will use.
  4. Plant your seeds!
  5. Share your garden: Send a photo of your garden to dperrier@biblio.org with the subject line “WPL Seed Library Garden” or tag us on social media.
